Re: Raising iron levels

Now I just have to find a way to stop feeling debilitating exhaustion the whole time. It seems to get worse rather than better. I'm not sure if it is the Kratom or just generally poor quality sleep. It is such a struggle to get up - I just want to be in bed dosing all the time. Of course this is a ...

Re: Legs and arms buzzing on ativan

Yikes, I haven't ever tried Ativan...I take Buspar for anxiety and it has helped immensely. But I take it every day, and in the morning/early afternoon because it disrupts my sleep, but overall creates a calm in me which has helped my sleep. If I'm dealing with an issue that ends up pervading my sle...

Re: Requip & Erectile Dysfunction ???

A large number of MJ associated visits to the ER in my town in Colorado have to do with visitors from out of state that eat an edible and then assume that because they don't feel anything in 15 to 20 minutes that they didn't eat enough. So they eat some more, and then some more until an hour or so ...

Re: RLS or something else? Part 2

SnappyK, your story and amazing tenacity are fascinating to me. I wanted to suggest something that I've learned about in my own health quest, Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN). Apparently it is very effective for treating MS, but people use it for so many other conditions. I will add it as soon as I can get...

Re: Requip & Erectile Dysfunction ???

Hi. Great advice here from legsbestill and Holland. I do things a little differently, if you need another option. I can't use THC, because it activates my mind and keeps me awake, so I convert everything to CBN. This explains it well: m The oven is too unpredictable for me, so I use UV light for a w...

Re: RLS, Fatigue, and Klonopin

Welcome to the board, Mark! I have a book, The Fibro Manual (Liptan), that says Gabapentin, GABA, and magnesium supplements, among several other things, increase Deep Sleep. I'm on Gabapentin and magnesium and hope they're helping with this. I also dream a lot. And I have to say I'm envious of your ...

Re: Is anyone else still on clonazepam?

QyX & Stainless, My mother is a tough cookie but the benzo withdrawal has really challenged her wherewithal. I'm not sure she completely believes me all the time (I'm family...what do I know?! ), so I read her what you wrote about your own experiences, and perspective and it really, really helpe...

Re: Neighbors from you-know-where, anyone?

Leggo, I bet there's relief in having the installation finally done. I'm challenged with anxiety (is that the politically correct way to say it nowadays? like height challenged or alcohol challenged) and I know how stressful things like your neighbor situation can consume you. If you haven't already...

Re: Neighbors from you-know-where, anyone?

Yankiwi, This will sound incredibly ignorant but I like to think of New Zealand as this perfect Eden like place, where extra shades of green only exist, and life is easy, wholesome, and well...perfect. Maybe you can even eat as much chocolate as you'd like? I suppose I need to think a place like thi...

Re: Is anyone else still on clonazepam?

QyX, I appreciate your feedback...we actually used the Ashton Manual and switched her from the Clonazepam to Diazapam per one of the suggested schedules. She started at 30mg Diazepam and following the schedule she tapered starting last year in February and finishing in September. She did really well...

leggo, it is expensive but so worth it for peace of mind. And it adds value (perceived or actual) when you go to sell your house down the road. I hope this situation gets resolved for you.

Re: Is anyone else still on clonazepam?

Rick, I believe I wrote you awhile back about your use of Gabapentin to get off a benzo...sorry, I had a particularly bad night so my memory is not working so well. I'm not on Clonazepam but my mother is and trying to get off of it. She has a sleep movement disorder but not RLS. She just got a presc...

Re: Neighbors from you-know-where, anyone?

Leggo, What an awful situation...everyone else suggested very good things. I'd add to consider bright security lights that are motion sensitive. And for home security, there are door sticks (m) that really make it difficult to come through a door. You may not literally need them, but they give peace...

Re: How to get dr to listen?

connecticutgal, welcome! I was scared to try medical marijuana too. I had never tried it before and grew up thinking it was a naughty drug. Boy, was I wrong. It is medicine and helping people live better lives. I use it every night. And while I was once shy and covert about using marijuana, I've sin...
