wow! you've put a lot of work into this, I commend you.

I can't really comment myself because my RLS is bad enough that I've slept 3hours in the last 4 days and my brain can't function enough to put it all together.

I will say what you've done is pretty amazing.

It's a really tough situation your in. When do you see your Dr. again? Is there anything else they can give you?

I'm thinking about asking for a horse tranquilizer... O.k. maybe not... but it's tempting.

Helen I'm so very sorry you are having such a time with your RLS and medications. I recently stopped taking my methadone 10mg to 0 mg. I must not have become to dependent on it because I noticed zero side effects. I stopped taking it because it increased my pain *BOGGLE*, and was to stimulating. I d...

Ann - Yes I did chuckle. I can relate a bit.

I don't know if it's the same or different from looking at your own child and your brain tells you they are a stranger.

I used to recognize family members. I've now seen my 8 year old daughter twice and didn't recognize her as anyone I knew. First time was at Chuck E Cheese: I saw a kid about 10 feet from me and thought now thats a chubby kid too much pizza for her. Her parents should lay off the pizza. Several mins....

I've been experiencing feeling hot, and cold at different times. I've had methadone for a month now, wow, can't believe that. I'm horrible about taking it, I take 10mg every 48 hours, and it stimulates me so if I don't take it at 5pm i cant take it at all or I'll be up all night. I'm going to have t...

very glad to hear it.

Just a thought when getting off of mirapex a high majority of people have a hyper RLS effect that lasts for 5 to 10 days once your off of it. I experienced it for about 5 days myself.

Massage greatly impacts my RLS in a bad way. If my husband touches my legs I know I'm not going to sleep that night.

I'm really glad this works for you, I wonder if it just has something to do with the massage. There are a lot of people that find improvement with massage I've read.

I'm not sure I understand your question. I assume your talking about the kind of pain associated with RLS. I recently read if it isn't improved by movement then it isn't RLS. I don't personally have severe pain with my RLS so maybe someone who does can add their 2cents.

Hang in there! I can't comment on drinking or smoking pot because I never have. I just want you to know there are others like you that suffer and have very bad quality of life. Alcohol can make sleep worse or wake you up after a few hours. I'm sure you already know this. I know of several people tha...

Thanks Andy!

This was the first medication I used for my RLS. It was better then most but sadly I was not able to continue on the medication, due to side effects.
