Re: Switching from Zoloft to Wellbutrin

Yeah, I don't think Wellbutrin works for anxiety.,, and I went on Zoloft for anxiety. I'm still having headaches, milder, but still annoying. Maybe Zoloft contributes to them too. Generic Zoloft that is. I have had a ton of trouble with different manufacturers of generic Zoloft. I'm trying to get Pf...

Re: Switching from Zoloft to Wellbutrin

Yes... The Wellbutrin was causing the headaches. I saw a PA at my dr office a week ago (because i had suicidal thoughts) and has tapered me off of Wellbutrin by going down to 150mg for a week then off. At the same time I was put back on Zoloft at 50mg, with an increase to 100mg after a week. My mind...

Re: Switching from Zoloft to Wellbutrin

The last time I had my ferritin checked was 2 yrs ago. I managed to get it from 7 to 40. My sleep dr said that was good enough. The iron pills were giving me severe stomach pain. I do wonder if I can increase my ferratin level and rid myself of SSRI's if I can manage RLS without mirapex or Requip. I...

Switching from Zoloft to Wellbutrin

Hello, Reading many posts in this forum have encouraged me to make some medication changes. I had taken 100mg Zoloft for 6 years. 2.5 yrs ago my RLS became unbearable. I started with mirapex and changed to Requip a year later. I'm having a hard time with weight gain. Recently, when it seemed the Zol...

Re: Ran out of requip

What I ended up doing was taking a T3 before bed. Tonight I will have the requip. Hopefully it's like mirapex and stays in the system for a few days. No issues last night. Thank you all for the comments.

Ran out of requip

Hi, I forgot to get to the pharmacy earlier and it's a holiday and I have found myself without my requip tonight. I'll get it for tomorrow night. This has been my first month on it, I was on mirapex before that. Has any one ever switched between the two drugs for just a day or two? I still have some...

Re: Why stop a med that is working for your RLS?

Thank you badnights. My dr asked if I had any compulsive habits before I stared mirapex, but I think I have developed one. I need a new drug. :-)

Re: Pramipexole Problems

Hi TimG, I experienced the same exact thing! I was wondering if I was the one who was strange. I started pramipexole about a year ago. Started with 0.125mg, went to the effective dose of 0.25mg. Then I noticed weight gain and difficulty getting up in the morning. I just wanted to sleep and eat all d...

Re: Amantadine

I have gained weight from taking mirapex, 20 lbs in a year. I'm looking for something that works as well as mirapex but without the weight gain or other nasty side effects. Any suggestions?

Re: Why stop a med that is working for your RLS?

I have "quit" mirapex a few times to see if my higher ferratin levels would cure my RLS. Time after time the RLS came back. So i appreciate the med. What I don't appreciate is the weight gain I have experienced since starting mirapex. I have gained 20 lbs in the past 11 mos. while some may...

Mirapex, binge eating, augmentation after withdrawl

Hello, I have been on Mirapex 0.25mg July. It's been great, no RLS issues. During this time I managed to gain 15lbs. I have also been taking iron supplements because my ferrarin levels were low. My ferration levelg went from 7.5 to 48 since July. Meanwhile, my husband noticed that I had been eating ...

Thank you all for the information. I still don't gave any answers as to what the rash is from. My primary care dr seems to think it will cone back once I go off the prednisone. I hope not. I don't want to be tortured anymore. :P

Rashes from Mirapex?

Hello, I'm in a situation where I am having a hard time with a very itchy rash on my feet, ankles and lower legs. The reason why I am discussing it here is that I take generic Mirapex, generic zoloft and birth control pills. I am trying to figure out what is causing the rash and working closely with...
