Welcome NB Am truly sorry that you are going through such a rough time. As others have said you are not alone and I hope that will give you some solace. I know that I and others, perhaps yourself included, find some momentary peace soaking in a nice warm tub or by letting the shower just rain down o...

Thanks. I will do some research on rebound headaches as it sounds on point. Odd thing...I began taking Ultram which works quit well for me in controlling the rls but after about a week or so I seem to be experiencing the same sinus stuffiness/headache symptoms. Didn't think this would happen with th...

Plavix ?
Have been doing some thinking stimulated by a post(s) related to what makes rls better. About 6 mos. ago, I suffered a TIA which, fortunately, did not result in any definable impairment. After a several day hospital stay, I was released and went into a brief period of rls remission or noticeable imp...

Don't know is this is much help but I was prescribed Rozerem about 9 mos. ago more as a sleep aid rather then for rls. In any event, I was in a bit of an rls slump at the time, but I do not think the Rozerem made my rls symptoms better or worse. Also, for me, it was also not effective as a sleep aid...

I know this is a late post but, being somewhat new, I'm just looking for the right spot to fit in a question, or if I might be helpful, a response. I had been on Klonopin for about two years and got up to 1.5 mg. at bedtime. Discontinued use as it became ineffective. I titrated off slowly...about 1/...

My symptoms seem to have morphed to the point that now the emg like electrical shocks are the primary expression. "Seems" to initially happen just as I am about to fall aseep or perhaps have just entered sleep. A bit random after that. I wonder if it is of the "PSM" variety which is described in a l...

Hos, Again thanks for the welcome. Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately in the sense I seem to at least be on the right track, I have made the rounds of many medications including requip. Had a very good run with Sinemet for nearly three years which according to the neuro may be a bit unusual. Othe...

Have been taking Ultram about 45 minutes before bedtime regularly for about a week. 50 mg seems too little but does blunt symptoms. 100 mg seems to be working well in terms of feeling sleepy and significantly reducing the "electrical" shocks. Seems to last about 6 hours or so and even remember havin...

Another 1st post//tolerance or side effect?
Sorry if this is redundant...After taking 1 to 2 tabs daily, or nearly daily, of Vicodin 500 (for about 18 mos) initially for shoulder/back pain and later to help relieve RLS symptom by taking the meds at night, I began having the nasal stuffiness mentioned in some posts and also a headache during t...
