Re: Intermittent Fasting
Yankiwi, that’s awful...hope you feel better soon. It’s been a really tough flu season. Betty & Ann, you’re both making me regret all the skinnier clothes I’ve gotten rid of over the years as I thought there was no way I’d ever wear them again, LOL. Oh well, I guess I’ll just be forced to go sho...

Re: Intermittent Fasting
Ann, after you mentioned it on the discussion board last year in July, I looked up Dr Fung and read some articles. It made sense. Weight has been creeping up on me for decades. A slow transformation into the Michelin Man (the pudgy guy composed of rows of tires), no matter what, or how little, I ate...

Re: Dipyridamole
Isn’t strange how you learn something new and then it immediately pops up in an unlikely place? I’m putting together an information packet on Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) for a family friend recently diagnosed with cancer and I’m scanning a page and see Dipyridamole...wait, that’s what Holland is exper...

Re: Skullcap and Valerian Bedtime Tea
What a nice friend...I use pure Valerian when I wake up in the night from breakthrough symptoms. I find it very sedating. Doesn’t stop my movements, but calms me down and knocks me out enough that I can get some solid and/or broken sleep. I am one of those people that often falls into the small perc...

Re: Ice Cream
I’ve never been a fan of ice cream but when family visited over the recent holidays I ended up, after almost every visit, at a parlor a few blocks from their rental. I consumed huge amounts of ice cream and it was fantastic. I would plan which flavors I was going to get next, and whether the combina...

Re: Progress with my local doctor?
…I just wish that there was some way to get the message to a larger market audience so that we can start to counter some of the misinformation and foolishness being peddled by the major media outlets and the politicians. They make a BIG deal about opioid deaths, but completely ignore deaths due to ...

Re: Magnesium and CoQ10
Wow. I was told to take CoQ as well, but I didn't notice that sort of effect even though I'm prone to anxiety. I may have been too messed up at the time to notice, or the dose was too low. When I did a Google search on the side effect, I didn’t really think there’d be a connection but there it was....

Wow, Steve, just wow...thank you for doing this for all of us. So refreshing to see straight, logical, smart talk in the face of so much nonsensical ridiculousness.

Re: Magnesium and CoQ10
Recently I went to a specialist of RLS. I have RLS and severe PLMs. It's the PLM's that drive me crazy. The doctor prescribed magnesium 400 to 800 mg twice a day and CoQ10 100 mg three times a day. I also take methadone 5 mg tabs, 10 mg in 24 hours. I spread it out. I am not sure the magnesium and ...

Didn’t know about those available spending reports...not sure I want to know, LOL! You’re right, Amazon saves so much time.

Re: Our Amazon purchases can support the RLS Foundation
It's a shame that this doesn't apply to Amazon customers in the UK... Betty, are you suggesting you’re a big shopper? It would be great if UK Amazon customers had AmazonSmile. I always wonder how these things work, or in this case, don’t work. I’ve never been that much of a shopper and I dread mall...

Re: Our Amazon purchases can support the RLS Foundation
I just checked in on my Amazon contributions to the RLS Foundation and got this update (please read in a newscaster voice)... - You have generated $22.21 as of January 9, 2018 - Your current charity Restless Legs Syndrome Foundation Inc has received $719.30 as of November 2017 (If you want, you can ...

Re: Potassium Citrate
I wonder if there is any kind of substantive difference between the OTC potassium citrate powder you used and the 10mEq pills I've received through prescription? Seems the only difference is the extended release part, so maybe it’s being broken down and absorbed in different areas. That’s as medica...

Rob, can you clarify...are you taking Citrate or Chloride? The link you provided refers to Chloride.
