Hi all, Do you know if your insurance pays for this device, will they cut your medication back? Will they continue to pay for both? I would love to try and put in for this with my doctor but if it doesn't work would hate to lose my medications! Also, has anyone tried the TheraPulse that is similar ...

I was in the study - for a short time. It doesn't really work with severe symptoms, so I washed out. I wish I could say positive things, but my symptoms are barely covered by both methadone and pramipexole, at a dose that is pretty high.

It's been about a year - I wonder how these studies have gone? I looked up the apomorphine one and it says it isn't yet recruiting, but that cannot be, can it? Hmmmm. Well, I made what is hopefully the last step to be ropinirole free: dose cut from 2mg to 1mg. At the present, keeping the gabapentin dose at 300mg twice a day, knowing it can be increased if necessary. It has not always been easy but I am pleased that I am almost finished.

*gsurpur* I also wonder sometimes, what is normal. What would I be like without rls and without being stuffed full of medications. Hi, My sleep specialist prescribed me this device as I live in California, unfortunately my insurance denied it.
To buy on our own, its $6000.00 including the accessories. I do not know why my request was denied!
