That's the one thing we don't have to be too concerned about over here. Maybe 3" of snow for about a week in January or February that manages to bring us to a standstill.

Hard luck about the $130. :(

I reckon it is a good understanding doctor that you need. What is your primary care doctor like, will he look at and discuss the Mayo Algorithm with you so you can both work through it together. I use the parkinson medications without much in the way of side affects, yes sometimes a bit of nausea no...

Hello 'Atwitsend' I am 60 yrs and have also had rls for over 30 years without medication, during that time I thought I would go crazy. Gradually it built up to 24/7 and now I have taken medications for 3 years. Medication is Requip and tramadol which gives me enough relief to live a normal life. I u...

Yes, I had noticed that it was pretty quiet here. If you think about it, this condition is worldwide, this forum is worldwide, and at any given time there must be so many many people seeking relief and support, they don't know what they are missing if they haven't found us. I know that sometimes the...

Where do people go ?

I am up and about for a little walkabout, a good time to check the pc.

There are a few members we haven't heard from for a while, Moonlight, Waterloo, Sardsy. Sleuth hasn't about much recently. Nor Aiken, Wam........ Others too.

I hope its because things are good and are going well for them.

Sounds like you need to see your doc to get meds sorted. I agree, it shouldn't be a case of suffering from one or the other. Both conditions need treated.

Naaahh.... Not into video games at all. Probably partly a generation thing. However last xmas day one of our 'kids' (4 of them whose ages range from 26 - 33) brought their Wii and we all had fun with it - skiing, boxing, horse jumping and best of all, cos I won it, the hula hoop. :)

Ann when my sleeping pattern was at its worst (if we discount the nights where I got absolutely no sleep), it was never as bad as what you are going through. All those wakenings are horrendous. Susan, I will be interested to have a look at the personality typing system. Haven't time just now, but in...

That is what happened me, and I only had it for a week, it is much less painful now. But whilst trying to protect the painful heel I ended up with my leg sore right up the back of the leg. Even now when the heel is nearly better my leg still has the crampy feel at the back, tho getting lesser. $50 -...

I googled celebrax using only uk sites and it would appear it is available here in UK - tho there are also warnings about it doubling the risk of heart attack/stroke. One week on, and my foot/heel is definitely a lot better, tho right up the back of my leg now aches, I assume cos of trying to 'save'...

OMG Ann, what a day, what effort to get your script and your meds. It's like the stuff a movie is made of. I'm thinking of a movie ..... I think maybe it was called The Out of Towners - or something like that - perhaps it was Jack Lemon and Sandy ...... (someone)..... where the main character was tr...

Thank you Ann and Susan, doc says it is not plantar thingy, nor gout ...and also the pain is to the inner side of the foot, but thankfully it seems to be a little better each day. He says arthritis ? Not so sure, this is the same doc who about a year ago during a telephone appt where I was requestin...
