Jumpy--Posting in the RIGHT place

Jumpy, you said Why do you not post things you come across in the thread of ORP? You are EXACTLY right. I should have posted here. I said I'm always up for any advice on what foods might trigger attacks. I know it depends on the individual, but I think too much sugar has an effect on me, but there m...

Thanks for the Hugs Bacattx

I REALLY needed those hugs!!! I really went on and on, didn't I?!!! Nothing is an accident, is it? You were meant to read that post, weren't you? I still almost hesitate to call myself an "artist", but everyone else is, so I guess I will too. Ha! I'm sure you REALLY are (I've read so in many posts!!...

It's My Turn to Vent

it's Jan and I always seem to find an old thread, don't I. I'm sorry, "Miss Mary Sunshine" is in a BAD MOOD. Imagine that!! I'm sorry! My legs have been killing me all day and I didn't get any sleep last night. They (legs) have been gradually getting worse (hurting) lately, so I saw my GP who manage...

Re: I don't like my doctor

This is Jan again and once again I'm reading an old thread. I just had to respond to Jumpy's suggestion regarding people (especially women) taking spouses along to doctor's appointments. He's absolutely right. Unfortunately in today's world, a lot of men STILL think women somehow "don't get it" (we ...

A Great Day!

Jumpy I had a Great Day! I got almost 5 hours sleep, my legs didn't hurt too bad this morning, the sun was shining, it was below 99 degrees farenheidt outside (humidity included--I do live in southern Illinois where the humidity and temperature are often the same), and the first thing I saw on my co...

Learning more and more each day

This is Jan I read and re-read these posts every day. Just found this thread and I can't tell you how much I'm learning and how much you all know. I'm on 1 mg. of Mirapex 2x daily and 2 mg. Clonazepam 1x daily and have been for approx 1 year (this time) and have had no side effects (my neuro increas...

RLS but only once in a great while?

Hi--I'm Jan and I'm NOT a medical expert. I've had RLS for about 20 years. Mine started very sporadically. The sensation I had was a creepy-crawly feeling in my legs and an uncontrollable urge to move them. The only relief I got was to get out of bed and walk. Is that how you feel? I did not experie...

28--fast approaching 29

Nadia I have twin daughters who are 27. I could be your mother! I was in my late 30's before RLS reared its ugly head (I may be repeating myself--I'm starting to do that a lot). Anyway, I'll be watching your posts to see how you're doing! My girls haven't shown any signs yet, fortunately. My son, wh...

Nadia

I really admire you, Nadia. You have such a good attitude. But, you are so young (at least I've gotten that impression from your posts) and you have such a bad case of RLS already! I know what you mean about the chainsaw--I have thought it was lucky I didn't have a machine gun handy before after not...

back pain and RLS

I know this is an old thread but I just found it. This is Jan and I have back pain, too. AND, my legs hardly hold me up in the morning. Regarding my back, the small of my back hurts so badly sometimes, I can hardly turn over in bed. I'm on Mirapex and Klonopin which helps the RLS, but I have to take...

RLS and Parkinsons

My neurologist at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis also assured me that there is no connection between RLS and Parkinsons. I have the utmost trust in him and believe he would not mislead me. I have been his patient for ten years.

twice?

Sole

You got me? I notice that too. Duh!!! I just hit the darn submit button ONE TIME. Maybe they are SO GOOD "someone" thinks they should show up two times. Ha! It is kind of embarrassing, but I honestly can't think of what I could be doing wrong, can you?

Jan (hopefully just ONCE)
