Re: Raising iron levels
Boots, thank you for posting your encouraging story...it really moved me. Any time I learn that one of my fellow RLS sufferers gets any relief, it makes me happy and gives me a boost of can-do energy to keep searching for a solution. I'm sometimes overwhelmed by the kindness and thoughtfulness of th...

Re: Raising iron levels
Polar Bear, LOL, Ninja Glitter, exactly! Love that term. Years ago I read about a guy who started a business around glitter for those seeking revenge. He would anonymously mail an envelope full of glitter to your enemy for you. Now every time someone pushes my button, I immediately put them on my im...

Re: Raising iron levels
legsbestill, I have a list of people too...maybe we should all chip in and hire a guy? Or mail them big ol' envelopes of glitter.
So glad you've turned the corner

That's really interesting...it also makes me wish we could do our own blood tests at home, or through the mail, so we could time it better and do as many as we please.

Re: Raising iron levels
legsbestill, congrats on your ferritin level! I've been trying to get mine higher as well and just got my highest level so far this week of 91. I started at 33 a little over a year ago. Maybe I should try supplementing every other day too (I take Thorne brand Iron Bisglycinate with Vitamin C). Is th...

Re: Supplemental Iron
Am I missing a fun new pastime because it seems everyone is more aware of their business than I am. My naturopath is always very interested in my business and what it's been up to, but I always report "I don't wear my glasses." Steve, I take Iron Bisglycinate with Vitamin C...so I really d...

Re: New person from Maryland
SLEEPY ANGEL, if you haven't already found a solution for your constipation... When I realized I had RLS, I was trying everything before medication and started on magnesium. I didn't realize there were differences in magnesiums and started with magnesium citrate. I'll spare y'all the horrifying expe...

Re: Where to buy Kratom
Does anybody know of any Kratom vendors that test their products for contaminants, either in the USA or other countries?
Or a place on the web where I can find that information?
Also, can anyone vouch for the vendor RelaxRemedy.com?
Thanks

Re: Infusion Update
I agree with legsbestill, Ann, you're definitely blazing a trail for us all. Thank you for sharing everything with all of us. Regarding iron...Makes me wonder if there's a different way to get iron into the brain/body? I know very little about medical things so bear with me...could you trickle iron ...

Re: Low Dose Naltrexone for RLS
erika13, Dr Weinstock's work is fascinating to me too. My naturopath knows him from conventions and says he's a really nice doctor and doing good work. I didn't realize that ferritin and vitamin D levels were important to the process. That could be at least one reason for it failing for me as my vit...

Re: Low Dose Naltrexone for RLS
A couple one offs that I forgot to mention... My naturopath told me the use of the LDN during the SIBO treatment was to encourage motility in the small intestine. And, one positive I did have while on LDN was more bladder control during the night. I had read about it and then noticed that I got up l...

Re: Potatoes for Restless legs
So if RLS is everywhere, in every country, and there are DNA snippets that correlate, then I wonder if there are cultural diets that improve RLS symptoms so that fewer patients are seeking medical help. I know, we may never know, at least until some awesome scientist tells us how X country should ha...
