I'm overweight! ME ME lol I'm fat. My son says I have a jiggly fat mama belly. I do. Anyway, I was thin most of my life even with RLS. My weight problem started when the tarsal tunnel in my foot started and I got to where i couldn't walk. I was always very thin most of my life and very, very active....

I have to get up a lot at night too. I suspect though it is because I sleep so lightly that I just go ahead and get up. Lord, look at the time, the sun is up. I didn't take my meds on time last night and I got maybe 2 hours sleep. I feel bad b/c my poor son is up too. I need to get him to the doctor...

After readin those articles I feel better. I only take maybe 1 ultracet a day - not every day. I've done so for the last year or so. Actually, I usually take tramadol without the tylenol with it. Sometimes just a tylenol works ok for a while, and then I take a tramadol. I have never had to increase ...

Spam has picked up all over the place. I'm on over 20 homeschool boards and lists, and they've all been getting spammed. What happened with the hacking is that the board was outdated, and it got captured in a google check. Hackers use the google api to harvest boards that are vulnerable to recent ex...

I use lidocaine patches for the neuralgia that I have in my lower leg and foot. I fell down some steps about 9 years ago and my foot went under and I tore all my ligaments, popped my talus and damaged the nerves.I have tarsal tunnel syndrome, but all the nerves going into my foot are severely damage...

I have to have the neurontin for the foot. Its awful without it. It still hurts with it. I also use lidocaine patches but they are so high that I can't afford to use them all the time. I do take ultracet and sometimes lorcet. My doctors were always stingy with pain medicine until after they saw my M...

I was having this problems way before I ever started either the Neurontin or the Mirapex. I'd actually say it is a bit better since going on the Neurontin since I am sleeping better at night. I take 1800 neurontin a day, and .25 Mirapex. The doc wanted me on more but I stoped at .25 because it was w...

I wish that we could keep a more permament thread on this topic going. What has helped me a lot is eBay. It is a 'job' that I can do on MY terms, and its kept me from filing for disability. I don't know if I'd get it or not. I DO have severe nerve damage in one foot, but I am highly skilled so I fig...

Well, my husband is just being a total pain tonight. Normally he is pretty sweet, but he resents my not working I think. I always made more than he did and he liked the money. I just cannot work. Then whenever he gets a bee in his bonnet, like he did at work today, he tends to blame me for keeping h...

I am ok with allegra, but not the DS. Sudafed and the like KILL me. I took some pain medicine one time - way before I was ever diagnosed with RLS - I can't remember right now what it was but I've since seen it listed as a no no - and MAN - I was about ready to shoot myself. It was totally awful. I s...

Is it possible to have both CFS and RLS?
I am having a lot of luck with my medication for RLS, but I have a problem in that a lot of times I feel like someone just pulls my plug. Its worse if I do too much. Today, I went to town and came home, did a bit of housework, then all of a sudden I just knew I was going down for the count. I went t...
