Alertness--RLS vs. pain dosages?

This is probably a no-brainer, but if codeine causes alertness at dosages for RLS, it will likely cause alertness for pain level dosages?

Re: Medical Marijuana

One more thing: to repeat myself. I have had to address two problems: insomnia (not getting sleepy enough) AND PLMD/RLS. For me, progesterone makes me sleepy. I actually think I still have some leg movements during sleep but I sleep through them. I was using THC for sleepiness and it helped but was ...

Re: Medical Marijuana

THCA is a miracle (almost always) for me. It's not that changeable--you need to keep it out of the sun, refrigerate if you can and be careful not to heat it up in a warm car, etc. Yes, I tried (expensive) CBN. Did nothing for me. But then, as we all know, everyone is different. I use THCA full spect...

Re: Medical Marijuana

I am guessing one thing is universal: whatever you get the card for doesn't impact what happens when you go to buy the marijuana. In other words, if you get the card for insomnia, it won't matter that you are wanting it to help another condition. The card doesn't say "only good for insomnia" or what...

Re: Medical Marijuana

It is only a bit over two weeks but I have had a significant improvement of my sleep starting on progesterone (100 mg at night before bed). It makes me tired within an hour, so much so I have given up the marijuana (THC 1:1) that I was using to get to sleep. I still have been taking 3 droppers of TH...

Qyx: why do you say that REM sleep is not that important?

Increasing REM sleep

Have been taking marijuana with some success for three weeks. Studies (actually it may only be one study) says REM sleep is decreased (eliminated?) by marijuana. I can tell something is up because I do not feel rested despite how much larger my chunks of sleep are. Anyone figured out how to increase...

Re: Referral to medical marijuana dispensary experts

I have a similar problem as QyX in that I need around 100 mg daily of THCA to control my PLMD/RLS legs (and still have to resolve having it last longer than two hours). I could not tolerate the amount of THC I would need because I would get so high. Also I learned that while THC and THCA are similar...

Re: Referral to medical marijuana dispensary experts

And you can't cook THCA (I mixed it with creamy peanut butter) because it becomes THC.

Re: Referral to medical marijuana dispensary experts

Except THCA won't work for insomnia; need THC.

Re: Referral to medical marijuana dispensary experts

Report from Richard at Home Grown Apothecary in Portland: all their RLS patients are helped by full spectrum THC, both for the movements and the insomnia. (THCA is the same thing.) Seems to agree with the experience here except for QyX with the CBD. He also said I should try cooking the tincture int...

Re: Referral to medical marijuana dispensary experts

How much CBD are you taking?
I am surprised you have the hangover if you take the CBD only before you go to bed.
