I think I can recall this being mentioned some time ago but I can't remember much about it. Perhaps a search of the site may turn up some information. Last year a physiotherapist used a Tens on my shoulder several times and I felt that my rls symptoms in my arm were improved for some weeks afterward...

The iron supplements may well have made a difference. How long have you been on the iron. And have you ever had your iron ferritin level tested. I think it is under 50 that is considered too low for those of us with rls, tho not too low for non sufferers. My understanding is that lack of iron can be...

I vaguely recall hearing something somewhere from someone else about their jaw being affected. Sorry I can't remember much about it.

Hope you and your wife have a great trip and that your 'legs' behave themselves on the flight.

I reckon all members have something to offer. Sometimes just hearing that someone else has 'been there' and got through it gives a wee lift.

We are all learning all of the time.
I also only ever took a mouthful of water with medication, nothing like a big glassful.

About 6 weeks ago I started taking an AD and found this post to be very informative.

I thought I'd bump it up just in case it was of value to any of our more recent members.

I think fragmented sleep becomes a part of our condition regardless of whether symtoms are playing up or not, unless perhaps a heavy dose of sleeping pill is used, which my doc won't do, he will only give a moderate dosage of this. Probably quite rightly tho I would just love a decent night's sleep....

As I understand it, it takes abot 1 and a half - 2 hours for Mirapex to become effective. So it needs to be taken well in advance of anticipated symptoms which is not easy if you have the symptoms coming and going all day. I have rls 24/7 and take meds regularly throughout the 24 hours, tho at diffe...

Sorry for your 'nightmare' day... and hope it improves. I can't speak about the energy drinks from experience but I would never touch one just in case, and usually mainly drink water. But we all know and understand what happened .... you needed to stay awake and alert and you were tired and weren't ...
