Honestly you should try the Calcium for those leg cramps, if that is all that is keeping you awake! well worth trying, as Calcuim is good for your body anyway.

Muscle cramps/Cal/mag vit

Also try taking a Calcuim/ mag. vit. I will get muscle cramps also, called Charlie horses, and they hurt realllly bad. I have had rls almost all my life. 2 yrs ago I discovered that I was diabetic and I take 1000 mgs of Metformin twice a day. Every morning and every night. I have not noticed any increase in my rls due to Metformin

never heard that about Sinemet but you need to research Sinemet for rls, its not a good drug for using every day for rls. It seems to do well for those that do not have to take it daily.
