Thanks, everyone, for the thoughts. I remembered that I had one day's dose in my purse, which I keep with me for when I go out for the evening. That warded things off for one more day and I fully expect it to come by tomorrow. If not, I will follow your advice. I am on 100-200 mg/day. Love you guys.

Ultram fear

I have been on Ultram for a number of months now. I get my perscription through the mail in 3 month supplies. Unfortunately, I did not refill my perscription online in time and I finished my perscription last night and I have not yet received my new perscription. I know that you are not supposed to ...

Welcome, Sunshine. I am sorry that you are suffering so. Know that you are among people who understand and we will do what we can to offer support and encouragment. Are you currently on any medication? You might consider a sleep medication approved for long-term use (such as Lunesta) in conjunction ...

Gilly, I'm so sorry that your son was diagnosed with RLS. I have had it since I was a young child, but no one knew what it was then and I could get no help. Your son is a lucky little fellow to have a parent who cares enough to find a diagnosis for what some would just call "fidgeting." Best wishes ...

Absolutely - I take 1200 mg of Neurontin and 200 mg of Ultram, both in divided doses. I take half of each with dinner and then the other half of each around 9 PM. 1200 mg of Neuronting is a pretty high dose. I think doctors recommend starting at 300 mg and working your way up until your symptoms are...

Welcome, Claire! Unfortunately, there are lots of folks out there who pray on those of us who suffer with RLS. I looked at the website and he said he discovered the "cause" of RLS and the "cure." Sadly, scientists have discovered neither a single cause nor a single cure, so the whole website is very...

Oh, Josh - I feel your pain. I've noticed that after I take my meds I start finding things to do around the house just so I don't have to think about the fact that it's nearing bedtime because I know that the torture is not far behind. I've often wondered if I've developed some kind of psychological...

Caffeine definitely exacerbates RLS for most folks. I think cutting it out will help you. You might want to taper off of it gradually to avoid that migraine, but you can expect to feel sluggish for a few days. I do not use caffeine with any regularity, but when I break down and have a cup of coffee,...

My augmentation was not permanent, but I was put on Ultram and one of the narcotics to counteract the augmentation and then got to my current regimen of Ultram and Neurontin, so I can't say what would have happened had I not gotten on another medication.

Em, I had itching not long ago that was completly out of control. Mine was more of a reaction to a medication, I think, but it was very deep with no rash. My doctor suggested trying one of the antacids such as Tagamet or Prilosec. Apparently there are two types of histamine in your body. Drugs like ...

I just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking of you and I have all fingers and toes crossed that this will be the ticket for some relief. I also want to encourage you not to panic if you experience augmentation with Mirapex - i...
