Re: Riding the Big One (RLS 24/7, Hanging Ten)
EeFall, I am very sorry to disappoint but Kratom will most likely not work for you because you are taking Buprenorphine. Buprenorphine partially antagonises opioid receptors since Buprenorphine is a partial agonist / antagonist on the opioid receptors and not a full agonist like almost all other op...

Re: Riding the Big One (RLS 24/7, Hanging Ten)
I feel for you. I'm so sorry and like Ann, angry too. I hope you find another way. Thanks guys for your posts, all of you. As it turns out my doctor did transfer the prescription to another pharmacy and I actually purchased it for $40 less and right away rather than waiting to pick it up on the 15t...

Re: Riding the Big One (RLS 24/7, Hanging Ten)
So on Christmas Eve I get a call from sleep doctors office that my pharmacy won’t fill my Suboxone prescription because of some new law about addiction and they said I needed to see some doctor from some list. After several calls my sleep doc agreed to send it to a different pharmacy but I won’t kno...

Re: Riding the Big One (RLS 24/7, Hanging Ten)
I'm posting this in General Topics: WED/RLS because this topic is about being a surfer and riding the biggest wave in existence. The surfer being a person with severe RLS who has it 24/7 without medication and the struggles of not falling off the wave. The wave being our lives because we arent' jus...

Re: Naltrexone for RLS?
Thanks for the info everyone. I see now it would not work at all for my RLS. One good thing happened awhile back as my doc changed my two 2 mg dose to one 4 mg dose which is the same thing but for some reason over $100 a month cheaper. At least it still works for me. I just wish there were not so ma...

Naltrexone for RLS?
As the longtime visitors to this site may remember I have been using Suboxone for RLS for about 7 years now. After taking around 25 other medications that all eventually stopped working either by themselves or several different drugs daily, (a cocktail I think it is referred as). I take 1mg 4 times ...

Re: Anxious
All my other meds stopped working so it is not a big surprise that Suboxone may be messing with me also. I think it has been about 6 years, nothing has lasted that long except Mirapex and of course that became a nightmare.

Re: Anxious
stjohnh, Awesome reply. Thanks for the info. I will look into Injectafer. EeFall, It sounds like you are having panic attacks. AFAIK this is not caused by RLS, but lack of sleep might make it worse. I don't know if Suboxone can cause panic attacks. Best to see your doc and ask if this might be panic...

Anxious
I am at home by myself and I was working on this project to create a hummingbird and print it off on a 3D printer. Now I quit doing it as I became anxious, frustrated, my body feels like it is scared and afraid and I feel like yelling and screaming. I don't understand why this is happening other tha...

Re: Update, Funny but True
At work today I forgot to take 9:30 am meds then noon meds. By 1 pm I was hyper and getting a little crazy in the mind. I just can’t miss Suboxone or I get anxious, irritable, paranoid, stressed. Really I can’t put it into words but it is terrible. So then I took both doses and by the time I got hom...

Re: Update, Funny but True
Thank you for your replies. I haven't been on here for awhile. I have now been working for almost 3 weeks. My sleeping is extremely bad. I am lucky to get 3 hours sleep a night, and not all at the same time. I get up for work at 4:45 am. Many nights I will go to bed at 8 or 9 pm and fall asleep for ...

Re: Update, Funny but True
Well done, you wondered how you would manage financially in retirement, just shows we never know what is around the corner. Fortunately if you decide that you prefer to be not working, you now know that you can manage. I wonder if your son was to read some case histories of folks with RLS would he ...

Re: Update, Funny but True
Funny how things like that happen. Glad you received the ridiculous wage! I feel for you regarding your son. It must be heartbreaking for you. Thanks. Looks like I will start work in a little over a week. Sort of a strange Christmas present. I feel like the old guy in the Home Alone movie but their...

Update, Funny but True
So I retired about 1 1/2 years ago and now I have gotten a new job from a company I worked for years ago. I made a point of asking for a ridiculous wage up front so no company would actually hire me as I like not working. They are going to pay me what I wanted. Yikes! Be careful what you wish for I ...

Re: For Anyone Who Thinks RLS is a Joke
Don’t think cutting down on Suboxone will work, even not taking a quarter of my Suboxone I start freaking out after 4 hours. Oh well.
