Weird feelings in lower back

Right now I am experiencing some weird feelings in my lower back that are similar to what I normally feel in my legs. I find that I get these back problems PRIOR to my RLS issues most days. Does anyone else get this as well?

Blood Test Results

Not sure if this might be what is causing my RLS, but recently I had some blood work done by my doctor and it showed that my calcium levels were high, and my vitamin D levels were low. I have done some research and it says this could be the sign of a parathyroid problem. Is this a possibility and co...

How do I get the Mayo Clinic Algorithm? I tried that link you posted and it won't work for me. Any other way to view/print it?

Exercize almost always makes my RLS worse. Maybe not right away, but I feel it afterwards tenfold.

I am already on mirapex, xanax and lexapro. I really don't know how effective it's all been. The xanax does seem to give me some temporary relief, albeit only if I take .5mg and it lasts for a couple hours tops. I've taken .25mg mirapex and only for a couple weeks. I'm thinking I need an increase in...

Having a bad day

My legs are hurting really bad today, and I don't take any painkillers, just xanax for anxiety. Any tricks on how to get immediate relief? This has been going on most of the morning. Should I talk to my doc about opiods? My legs aren't getting any better, it just gets worse as time goes on.

It was an episode where a woman was in the hospital (can't remember the specific episode) and needed to be treated for something and refused to be medicated. Anyways, sorry to veer off topic. I'm a huge South Park fan.

I can completely relate. This med makes me so sleepy... I just hope the sleepiness is one of the side effects that wears off eventually. Not that I'm complaining, I could use the rest!

As Mr. Mackey from South Park once said, "drugs are good, Mkay?"

I can't upload an avatar. I tried to upload a picture of me and it keeps on rejecting it. Any tips?

However living with poor quality of life isn't really living at all. I agree 100% Zach. You have to do whatever you can to get your life back on track... anything short of that and you just miss out on really living. I wish I could get back the last 2 years of my life but they are gone, now I feel ...

I have learned that it's so much more productive to be positive and avoid the "what if's?". I spent many years in that frame of mind and it only led to sheer misery. Now I just roll with the punches and I find myself to be a far happier person because of it, I think my wife and those close...

My sister says that she too has RLS (she is notorious for moving her legs all the time, even more so than I am) and since it's hereditary I have no doubt that is what I have. My doctor also confirmed the incidence of anxiety in RLS patients so for now I am going to accept both DX and I hope that is ...

No I don't think I have MS. I guess I really don't know what's really wrong with me, but I do know two things for sure, that I have anxiety and RLS. Those two alone have been pretty terrible for me and my priority is to treat both as best I can.
