Re: Lonliness
This is an old thread, but its giving me comfort today. Thank you. I usually avoid the relationship forum due to lack thereof, but this thread gave me hope. Perhaps for those who spoke of not wanting to be around other people during symptoms, this is neurologically based due to overstimulation. Too ...

Re: Impact of poor sleep
Yawny, yes I got the buspar. What else were you going to suggest? Makes sense re the anxiety at successful sleep... O no, legsbstill I think RLS is worse. I just pretend I have it then I don't feel left out. Seems very similar. I have mild RLS symptoms on occasion and I hate it. Ann, had it since ch...

Impact of poor sleep
I was really struck by the difference in my mood and perceptions between a night of good sleep and a night of restless, poor quality sleep. Unfortunately for me right now, the nights of poor quality sleep are starting to outnumber the good. The context of me comparing sleep on my ability to function...

Legs and arms buzzing on ativan
Just wow. I take ativan occasionally for anxiety and it appears to be messing with my PMLS, kind of turning it into whole body RLS. My limbs are buzzing and it's like I have to convulse to stop it. Not happy.

Re: Advocacy
rlstader, I'm so glad you did that! This is something that I feel strongly about as well. I suspect all states are in similar danger. I'm glad you met with your rep! Even better that you felt cared about. Opioids are an important quality of life issue for people with disabilities and pain concerns. ...

Re: Neighbors from you-know-where, anyone?
Thanks. I was able to check in with another neighbor, who agrees about the safety concerns, which made me feel a lot more sane. This neighbor is willing to step up and advocate to a degree. One amazing thing is how short my neighbors' memory is. Today they were out there griping loudly about their p...

Re: Neighbors from you-know-where, anyone?
No, they're little. The little one I hear screaming is about 4 I think. Does not seem to be doing well at all emotionally. Screams all the time out of rage and frustration; doesn't use words much. I actually heard an incident tonight when I was taking out my trash that I called in, she was screaming...

Re: Neighbors from you-know-where, anyone?
Hi Beth, Thanks, I've had that thought as well. The camera guy that they were harassing said one was very skinny and he suspected drugs. Tonight there was another incident. As I was returning from walking my dog, one of the men started filming me on his cell phone and saying loudly, "I've got y...

Steve, this is amazing. Words are failing me. I'm glad that you weren't physically injured in the bombing. Bombs are terrifying for their unpredictability and catastrophic injuries. What courage to go back and run again!

Re: Neighbors from you-know-where, anyone?
The cameras seem to be working already. Your hideous neighbors don't know the cameras don't record. Maybe I could have gotten the same result with entirely fake cameras! A guilty mind works overtime. Yeah, it is a bummer to have to spend time documenting, but I agree with you, such things are hugel...

Re: Neighbors from you-know-where, anyone?
I will look for that movie! Sadly it is a pipe dream for me to move to NZ. I wish I could! I am not in an occupation that is in demand and I'm getting old. I had the cameras installed today. I am thrilled with them and glad I got the HD! Unfortunately they don't record sound, that was a miscommunica...
