I wonder if it's simply flu-related? I had the stomach flu over the holidays too. I didn't take anything for it, though. My legs were the worst part of it all, once the heaving stopped! Aching & jumping so much I could hardly stand it! I remember the leg "aches" being the worst part of...

I read all the time, but I'm not a big poster here... Just wanted to post an update. I've added P90X (an intense workout program) to my schedule for the past 4 weeks. I have cut down on the running - both due to the cold Michigan weather, and the time this new exercise program takes. I have noticed ...

Hello! I am also a runner with RLS. I find that on the days (yes, I have RLS during the day) that it is bad, I can't wait to get home and run! I don't run hard, or fast, but just "shaking it out" and then a good stretch afterwards really helps. I often sit on my feet at work, switching oft...

Hey, thanks for checking in on me... Actually, life has been so busy lately that we have not made any changes to our sleeping arrangements yet. Seems that we've had less "bad" nights lately. I think he's been more tired, and sleeping more soundly. Adding another chink to the problem... In ...

Hello! Just adding my story to the list... I think that I have had RLS since I was a kid. And through the years, it has manifested in different ways... As a child, my feet were always moving. Sitting in church, I would cross my legs, and bounce the top foot... then switch back and forth. I would lis...

Music truly does amazing things for the soul, that is for sure. I just recently picked out a bunch of tunes for my cell phone (which is an MP3 player) for my long outdoor runs. Most of that is fast, hard 80's rock music. My high school years... I can sing along, and the beat gets me going! And I do ...

Hello! I've been doing the South Beach Diet (which cuts down on refined sugar and 'enriched' grains) for about a year and a half now. I've lost 35 pounds, and lowered my cholesterol numbers considerably (205 down to 160 for the total cholesterol). However, I have not noticed a direct relation betwee...

We do have a king sized Sleep Number bed with separately adjustable sides. Unfortunately, that doesn't help the moaning. I wonder if he would be able to sleep with ear plugs?... I wake up when he's not in bed with me... and find him sitting in the family room watching TV. I feel so bad, because I kn...

A charlie horse is a muscle cramp. Tightens right up into a ball. I used to get them in my calves when I was younger. Always in the middle of the night - would wake me right up screaming.

But they are much different than the RLS pain - at least for me...

I really hate the person I've become lately... I have always been the smiley happy face - the positive thinking - things will get better kind of person. Now that I'm always tired... I hardly smile - As a matter of fact, I get headaches from clenching my jaw while stressing about everything. I drag m...

Re: Pain Clinic

Now tonight, i have the sensation that hair is wrapped around my big toe and second toe. Not pain, just flipping weird sensation that hair or really soft thread is loosely wrapped around them. How weird. I get that same sensation sometimes. It's really odd! I keep looking, and digging, and there's ...
