Thank you Dee, Lynn, and Charlene. If you can't share your opinions nicely and in a mature, adult manner than I could care less. There are lots of people who do not like or believe in meds and that is fine, but when you think you can tell others how to deal with their symptoms thats just wrong. I do...

Jan, you have no idea how much that means to me that you shared something so personal with me. Thank you so much. You really have given me some hope. It sounds like your son had an angel by his side. I am very sorry that he was born with all the complications that he had, but I believe it is a true ...

Hi, Rory. The girls loved the concert. They had a blast. We took lots of pics. We waited to tell them until we were actually on our way to the concert. We had pretty good seats, not the best, but they were not too bad. Thanks for asking. My husband just adopted my oldest daughter Wednesday. Now she ...

Ann, I am so glad I didn't offend you. I was worried that I might have. I feel so much better knowing that I did not. As for now, Aidan unfortunately seems to be the tormenture instead of the tormented. After several little discussions with him, he seems to be doing better. There is no way I am goin...

Hi, Rory! Its great to hear from you, but I hate that its under these circumstances. I am still taking the Lyrica and it hasn't been helping so I started taking Requip. Now, like you, I am sleeping better at night, but I hurt worse during the day. I am going to see my doc next week so hopefully she ...

Ann, you are absolutley right. There really is no normal. I hope I haven't offended you or anyone else, because I certainly did not intend to. I only meant that I want Aidan not feel like an outsider. I want him to have alot of self-esteem and self-confidence so that he hopefully won't feel self-con...

Kayhart, I also meant to ask you what you meant when you said that you were not surprised by Aidan's SI difficulties, given his birth history? I was hoping you could ellaborate alittle for me, if you don't mind. I am very curious because you did say you have had many years of experience. Could his b...

Hi Kayhart, I would really like to talk to you more. I really appreciate your input. Aidan doesn't seem to have any sensitivity issues with things like tags or rough socks. He seems to not have any problems with most of the "normal" textures that he is in contact with from day to day. We have notice...

I have been doing alot of reading on the net. I am going to go to the library again this weekend and pick up a few books. I am like you, I need to know alittle more about Autism and Aspergers before I can be sure oneway or another and I need to be sure that their diagnoses is correct. I feel like he...

Hi WAM. I loved your post. You seem like the type of person who has a great sense of humor. I got my Associates Degree a few years ago and I have worked in several Veterinarian hospitals. I was a Vet Tech but decided the job wasn't for me. Anyway, I am like you, I can't stand getting licked by a dog...

Hi, I spoke to Aidan's Early Interventionist today and she is going to contact the Foundation that can test Aidan for Autism and Asbergers syndrome. I don't remember the "official" name for the foundation, but she said all she needs is the records from his doctors and she will send in the info. Hope...

You guys are amazing!

Wow, Ann how do you find all this great info? I will check out the Delphi forums. You and Lynne made a few great points.Aidan does have some texture issues. When he was a baby, about 10 months, I noticed how he didn't like the way grass and dirt felt on his hands and feet. There where a few textures...

Thanks for your help and advice Charlene and Ann. I talked to my husband about trying gluten-free foods. We both decided that it definitely would be worth atleast trying. Hopefully, it will help. I took Aidan for an assessment with several educational specialists to see if he needs to be put in a cl...
