Wow, 800!!!

Not sure where we were at when I started, but I know I was here long before your "we hit 500" original post in this thread.... so it's a lot of growth since I found you all.

I sure appreciate the support and place to sound off about this. :D

Thanks, Ann. I'd forgotten that thread completely. Wasn't the one I was thinking of. It's going to be hard to find because I think that aspartame got piggy-backed onto some other subject. Thought it might have been Jumpy's update thread or maybe one of the nutrition threads. And it was relatively re...

Hello, Jill, etc.--- I am pretty sure I posted some information about aspartame last month, but I can't recall under what subject either. A couple of us were discussing it... Just got in from out of town, but I'll look later. Penguin? Jan? Becat? Ann? anyone remember where that was? Perhaps with one...

Never too late! :D It's on-going.

And good luck with your treatment strategy sessions with your doc.

Hi, WhatSleep-- I know this has been discussed here relatively recently. I think there was even a poll about it. I know I itch in the evenings, and several other people do, too. I think Ann, and I'm almost sure Becat, and there's someone else who talks about it alot (is it you, Penguin?) Like you, I...

Hey, is that contagious? I'm fighting off my first migraines in YEARS the past few days (and you know I'm not on any meds). I tried to go to bed last night, but had the start of a bad headache so that wasn't going well, and then I realized that my husband needed a shirt washed for an interview this ...

Dang, Dawn... so sorry to hear that! No wisdom for you, but you have my empathy. I slept some last night, but not until late, and by that time my bothersome daytime symptoms were pretty bad nighttime ones. I know you know the feeling. Sure must seem like eons until the 7th at this point, huh? Hugs! ...

Rubyslippers-- I'm sorry to hear this is a problem for you, as well. I can't elaborate on Ann's description of the chemical side of this, but I can tell you my experience with SSRI's and that of others I know who've taken anti-a's and anti-d's in regards to sex, among other things. I heard about "se...

Becat--- I always thought we WERE having earthquakes, but no one ELSE's leg was shaking up and down. Sorry your legs were bad to you yesterday, but glad at least you can keep going with the meds. I guess my point about tired legs is that my RLS is always worse when I'm overtired, and maybe "normal" ...

Okay, folks... another "maybe" symptom??? Anyone e

Hey, all-- Been busy today, up and down step ladders, and my RLS isn't really kicking in yet. But I have that 24/7 "buzz" going, now that I'm sitting for a minute. FEELS like it might be a tricky night for RLS, too. Can you sometimes tell even before it really starts up? I try NOT to because I don't...

Hi, and welcome! I read all your posts, and can understand your fears. When I came here, it was because my RLS (that I'd had for decadess, but only known about for a couple of years) all the sudden got much worse. I was having symptoms 24 hours a day, and I thought... "Wow, I'm really in trouble now...

Hey, Lyndarae-- No wonder you're buzzing inside. Sheeesh! Lots of stress right now (some good, some bad ). But I've been through situations where I've not been paid (or even thanked) for work I've done... and that's VERY upsetting. An out-of-control feeling, as well as angering, because YOU can't go...

I like to sleep with lots of blankets, too, and so hot weather is less comfortable because I can't have all the blankets. I don't notice hot weather specifically making my RLS worse, though. Actually, I find that being cold is a problem, too, because if I shiver it seems to either trigger or exacerb...

Wendy-- I know what you mean about it being sobering to hear the worse case stories. But as much as RLS is a "progressive" condition, normally worsening with age, there's no "rule" that just because you live with it longer, you'll get as bad as the worst cases here. Several of our most severe cases ...
