Thanks! I did take it last night and this morning. Feel okay right now but also realize might take awhile before the side effects make themselves known. I do know that until a couple of hours ago, my fibro pain was still with me.

Savella

I know some people have posted before about having fibromyalgia along with their RLS. I have had it for several years but seldom took anything for the pain. Just this week I broke down and asked the doctor for something besides the Tramadol I have used in the past. It just didn't work. So today I pi...

What little I have found on this confuses me because I don't have any of the problems that seem to cause it. I've been tested for many of them and don't have the symptoms for the rest. I don't have tenderness too bad, just bad body aches especially in my hands and legs and they are worse when the we...

What's the point of a dicsussion board if you can't discuss! I don't understand not wanting to get info out to people. Maybe they just felt threatened! I even got my hands slapped for mentioning RLS Awareness Week!

Just one more thing

Test results back from a skin biopsy I had done which shows small fiber neuropathy. Still trying to research that but at least the doctor seems to think the Horizant he just put me on will help. Has anyone else heard of this? It may also explain my "fibro" problems although what I have fou...

That's why it is so important to know what you are looking for and make sure your info is from a reputable source. So many got horribly upset when they typed in Ekbom and got the information about Syndrome instead of Disease. And it's not only us that suffer with it, it's doctors trying to research ...

I was on a discussion board that slapped my wrist because I gave the website address for the RLS Foundation. NOT allowed to give out any information on other websites there so I don't go there anymore. There were some great people on there so it is a shame.

There was an Ekbom Syndrome and then we were going to change the name to Ekbom Disease. Since then, we have decided that name was not a good one for various reasons. (Confused with Ekbom Syndrome, the acronym ED is usually associated with Erectile Dysfunction, etc.)

Thanks for the support! Yes, I've been through this sort of thing before and it isn't a good time. So I will muddle through!

Knowing that someone else has had relief helps quite a bit. It is info I can take to the new doctor and see what he has to say. Something has to give, that's for sure.

Polar Bear--my doctor won't prescribe anything for my fibro pain except Tramadol which does NOTHING to help. I can take Excedrin Back & Body and get better relief. So what gives? Chipmunk--another doctor has taken me off Wellbutrin because I get these weird tingles at different times in differen...

We used that for quite awhile but it didn't seem to catch on. I hadn't thought about the "many legs" part of it.
