Re: Caffeine
Update: I am continuing to forgo caffeine after 7pm, and at first it seemed to be helping, then something strange happened. I don't have the restless legs as I fall asleep but I have it closer to the morning, which I've never had before. This doesn't make sense to me. Has anyone else heard of this o...

Re: ferratin
I've just started taking Gentle Iron on an empty stomach before I get up. Does anyone know how long it takes to build up your ferratin levels?

Thanks for your support! I'm still trying to untangle the knot of what kicked this off two years ago. It might have been medication related. Not surgery, trauma or bodily injury.

Re: How to overcome eating to cope
I sympathize. The first summer I had RLS I gained almost 20 lbs and my cholesterol shot up. I was up all night eating everything that was bad for me because I couldn't sleep/sit still. The only thing that could keep me from eating was taking the dog out for a walk or taking a bath.

Re: World's largest database of natural cures for RLS
Tablespoon of mustard on some cabbage (couldn't do the "in a glass of water" thing) didn't seem to do much for RLS attack I had the other day. What a surprise. Still, I will try again, on an empty stomach. After that...tonic water. The more I read about iron, the less I like it. Hard on l...

Caffeine
I usually enjoy a cup of coffee after dinner, but I've decided now to not have any caffeine after 6pm. I've been doing this for a week and I will say it has helped a little. I'm not one of those people who can ever give up caffeine completely...I don't drink or pop pills anymore, so it's my only vic...

I'm new here. I experienced WED/RLS occasionally as a child and teen, but 2 years ago it just exploded . After 3 months of walking the floor all night, eating compulsively, and being almost unable to function, I finally agreed to try ropinirole. I've been taking a maintenance dose of .25 mg every ni...
