Hi LL,
Yes, I'm very active, work out 5-6 times a week (cardio & weights), hike and cycle. I've had RLS all my life, and have never correlated inactivity with increased RLS, nor increased activity with lessened RLS. But that's just me, your mileage may vary...
All the best,
Heron

Ferritin Update
After 3 months taking 325mg ferrous sulphate 2x daily, my blood test from yesterday shows an increase of ferritin from 12 to 55, back in the normal range. My doc instructed my to continue taking it, but only 1x daily. I am still taking .125mg Mirapex nightly and am happy with the results (no RLS sym...

Nicely Done
I like the condensed, Reader's Digest version, Jumpy! It's nice to have the basics all in one place for folks. Thanks,

Becat, how's it working?
Hey there, just wondering how you are and if the Miracle II Neutralizer has given you any relief?

RLS Clinical Trials
Just curious, is anyone here participating in any of the clinical trials listed on rls.org? Does anyone know which "investigational medication" they are testing?

Rita, It makes sense to me since my RLS is always worse before my period when estrogen and especially progesterone levels are peaking. I've noticed this for years. I'm not familar with all the nuances of HRT (yet...), but I would guess when we're messing with hormones it will have an effect. All the...

Hey Joe, thanks for your story. It parallels mine in many ways, and the frustration (to put it mildly!) I hear from you is something I can relate to. That wondering if you'll ever sleep normally, function normally again, how shitty it feels to be a crab-ass all the time because you're exhausted, how...

Additional Thoughts for Survey
Along the lines of general health, self care & fitness: Do you exercise? If so, how often and what type (cardiovascular, weight lifting, specifics)? Other than RLS and its affects, are you in good health? If not, what other health problems do you have that are unrelated to RLS? Do you eat a bala...

Infommercial??
Dean, Sorry to be such a skeptic, but this sounds suspiciously like an infommercial to me. If you're for real, then I'm happy you've found relief for your RLS (even your website has it wrong). If you're plugging this product to make a buck off of RLS sufferers, then shame on you. Let the buyer bewar...

Update
Just an update on this thread, FWIW. I eased off the weight lifting for about 4 weeks and have seen no easing of my RLS. I'm back at it again and have found no increase. Of course the variable in all this is that I'm now taking Mirapex, so who knows what it all means?

Temperature
Matt, I have definately found relief from RLS in the past from changing the temperature of my legs by either uncovering them at night until they get really cold, or moving to a cold bed. This worked, along with other techniques, until my RLS increased in severity. Regarding air temp overall, I live ...
