Hmmm... I do have some diazrpsm 2mg. I wonder would that help??

Hi Ann, Its 3.30 am and I am still awake - up and about. I was fine earlier in the day (tho my evening was pretty mobile) got to bed at 12.30 am I had taken my 50mg doses during the day and then at 6pm. I then took 100mg tramadol at 10pm, still being quite active at this time and doing OK. At 12.30 ...

My friend had a knee replacement and is doing great. I think all has been covered with the rls medical alert card, talking with the anaesthesiologist, and also I printed out the pamphlet that Susan mentions for 'surgery with rls' and keep it in my rls folder of useful information along with the Mayo...

Good luck David.

This is my first day of no Requip (similar to Mirapex), and trying to get by using only Tramadol (Ultram) for my 24/7 symptoms.

Hmmm.. when do I expect the worst. Reading your posts, tonight may tell the tale!!

I am reading your posts with interest.

Thanks everyone. Ann, I don't know if I have augmented or not. But I'd like to give this a try. And thank you Zach for being so honest in your experiences, I knew of your difficulties with tramadol but didn't know the amounts you had taken. When I was asking about how much tramadol in a single dose,...

Thanks Susan. I think I'll try Tramadol alone, if things get desperate take a .5 requip, possibly at night, and see what happens. Don't know about doc giving me a stronger opiod. He stressed to me about how strong the tramadol is. OK, let's go for it, this is Day One....... Does anyone have an idea ...

Cutting out the requip and upping the tramadol sounds like an idea. And I have wondered about the efficiency of the requip. No Susan, I haven't tried Mirapex. When I take the requip during the day it does seem to have some effect but not perhaps 100% and of course I am also being more mobile during ...

just to clarify, when I way that I wonder about the dosage, it is the tramadol in particular, that I am talking about.

Thanks, I would value any comments on your own experiences.

Requip/Tramadol (Ultram)

My rls symptoms are with me 24/7. My doc prescribes me 3 x 1mg Requip daily, and my prescription for Tramadol 50mg states '1 - 2 tablets, 2 to 3 times daily'. He trusts me to be flexible with the dosages and I try to keep them as low as possible. I also have Ambien. I take Requip .5 at 10am (sometim...

I never leave the house without my Requip and my Tramadol. Sounds like I'm pretty dependent, but its just a case of being prepared at all times.

I actually have two lots, in case I lost one set.

Here in N.I. it is around 17 celsius (I think you double that and add 30 ?? equals 64 ??) Tomorrow evening I have a 60th birthday party. We will just be happy if the rain stays away so we can spill onto the patio, wrapped up, otherwise its going to be kinda crowded

I think it's true that relaxation can literally "bring on" RLS, as opposed to merely making whatever RLS is there more apparent.

This is so true.

We have all been there. Exhausted ... but can't sit down and relax, cos then we've got creepy crawlies as well.
