Please share your experiences, successes, and failures in using non-drug therapies for RLS/WED (methods of relief that don't involve swallowing or injecting anything), including compression, heat, light, stretches, acupuncture, etc. Also under this heading, medical interventions that don't involve the administration of a medicine to the body (eg. varicose-vein operations, deep-brain stimulation). [This forum contains Topics started prior to 2009 that deal with Non-prescription Medicines, Supplements, & Diet.]

Interesting. I don't think I've had a lot of refreshing sleep medicated OR nonmedicated for my entire life. Nonmedicated, the PLMS runs havoc and I am sooooo tired during the day. Medicated, depending on the medications, I have other issues. There is a specific combo that is best - a small amount of this, a bit of that, etc - but it's extremely hard to maintain (the whole augmentation issue).

Hope you can stay in that place that works best for you.
