magnesium for RLS

Please share your experiences, successes, and failures in using non-drug therapies for RLS/WED (methods of relief that don't involve swallowing or injecting anything), including compression, heat, light, stretches, acupuncture, etc. Also under this heading, medical interventions that don't involve the administration of a medicine to the body (eg. varicose-vein operations, deep-brain stimulation). magnesium for RLS

Post by Anonymous »

I have been experiencing RLS for several years on and off. My doctor had me on clonazepam and it did help for a couple of years, however, with time, started to creep back again. I just got off of clonazepam because it is so addictive and I do not like taking drugs if at all possible. An herbal store where I buy my vitamins and supplements did some research themselves on RLS and said that magnesium was very helpful so I have just started it and will keep you all posted.
