Please share your experiences, successes, and failures in using non-drug therapies for RLS/WED (methods of relief that don't involve swallowing or injecting anything), including compression, heat, light, stretches, acupuncture, etc. Also under this heading, medical interventions that don't involve the administration of a medicine to the body (eg. varicose-vein operations, deep-brain stimulation). In the RLS/PLMD Yahoo forum, a woman is looking for someone in the Washinton DC area to participate in case study regarding RLS and massage. If anyone lives in the area, this could be a great opportunity to get 8 or so weeks of free massage and possibly really help the RLS. It is on this forum: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RLS_PLMD/ You do need to be a member to post.

It seems to be working like a dream - I am in heaven. Now I have only tried it once so far, but if last night was any indication and I think I have finally found something that works for me. I went to bed and slept without even moving until 2 am and then was able to get right back to sleep. I am certainly hoping this keep up.

Here's to another good night's sleed. :D :P

So happy for you Josiejo, keep us posted. If I lived close to WDC I'd be volunteering! Hazel
