Alternative to pantyhose

Please share your experiences, successes, and failures in using non-drug therapies for RLS/WED (methods of relief that don't involve swallowing or injecting anything), including compression, heat, light, stretches, acupuncture, etc. Also under this heading, medical interventions that don't involve the administration of a medicine to the body (eg. varicose-vein operations, deep-brain stimulation). Alternative to pantyhose

Post by MissMae »

Hi Everyone,

I am new to this board and never thought of wearing pantyhose to bed to releive my RLS but I have found that a stretchy kind of Ace bandage around my leg or legs does the trick for me sometimes. I always noticed that if I had something heavy on my legs (like the sofa cushion back, my husbands leg) that my RLS felt better so I tried the ace bandage one night and hooray! I could sleep. Hope it helps someone else.

Michelle
