Cheap EMS for RLS?

Please share your experiences, successes, and failures in using non-drug therapies for RLS/WED (methods of relief that don't involve swallowing or injecting anything), including compression, heat, light, stretches, acupuncture, etc. Also under this heading, medical interventions that don't involve the administration of a medicine to the body (eg. varicose-vein operations, deep-brain stimulation). Cheap EMS for RLS?

Post by dhardisky »

The posts for EMS seem to be referring to professional EMS machines that would be mucho $$$$. My son is a physical therarapist and I will check on the cost.
How about those abdominal stimulator exercisors?? Don't they use electricity to contract muscles?? They are about $50 to $200 depnding on the bells & whistles you order. (Amazon.com, no I'm not getting any kickback from Amazon). They show them being used on the legs so why not for RLS??
I may try one and report...
