Please share your experiences, successes, and failures in using non-drug therapies for RLS/WED (methods of relief that don't involve swallowing or injecting anything), including compression, heat, light, stretches, acupuncture, etc. Also under this heading, medical interventions that don't involve the administration of a medicine to the body (eg. varicose-vein operations, deep-brain stimulation). Anyone heard of this? Apparently is it some type of light/heat therapy for WED. I received an email from the company and at least it was well-written. He says he also has WED and makes no claim to a cure (yet). I have emailed him back and he really does sound sincere. Just wanted to see if anyone else knew anything.

Have been watching them as they launch.

They believe it's related to poor circulation. I have read that this is definitely ruled out as a possibility. But, of course, many things have been "certain" in medicine only to be proven the opposite later!

They are doing research, so that is good.

I find the circulation thing hard to buy, though. Simply because it's not consistent with the symptoms. Swelling, redness, pain, numbness, cramping...except pain, these aren't at all what RLS is. And, you'd think that the rest of the medical community would at least be considering this if it was a possibility.

Of course, maybe it's some variation.

For now, I'll wait and see more...and hope they are onto something.

That's what I thought. They have it all together but I feel they are looking at the wrong area to help. We will wait and see!
