massive explosion in Toronto

Anything on your mind that isn't about RLS? It's nice to realize that there is life beyond this disease and have an opportunity to get to know our online family in a different context.

Propane depot explosion.

It happened at about 4 this morning . It threw me from my bed. Broken windows, people screaming, 7 alarmer, huge fireball, no word on casualties yet.

It felt like a nuclear explosion. I'm still shaking...

Oh, my! That's horrible. I hope that you are OK...and that there are few casualties.

I'm fine, just shaken up. The whole city is in shock. Tragically, one firemen has died and there are people unaccounted for...

2000 residents have been evacuated, 12,000 effected in some way, major hwy's closed. My first initial thought was the city was being bombed. The blasts were so big and the concussion wave so powerful, it shook my place and broke windows. I don't know what the area looks like now where the blast took place but it must be devastated. This is a major catastrophe here in Toronto.

I couldn't figure how to post it here but i put an image on another forum of the second blast. Here's the link,

Wow, what a shock! I can understand why you would have thought the city was being bombed.
