a shoulder to cry on
when I needed a hug

You laughed with me
You cried with me
You shared your past and inner
most thoughts with me
and I mine with you

I feel honoured to have
had you as a friend

Your life was not easy
Your mind was troubled
Your free from pain now, at rest,
at peace with yourself
No more fears, no more worries
my friend

I miss you so much
Never got to say goodbye
I see your face , I hear your voice
I feel so much pain
But it will go in time
my friend

Then I'll only remember
the good times
the laughter
the friendship and
the happiness

I'll never forget
your smile
your laughter
my friend

So long my friend
Go carefully on your new journey
I will hold you in my heart forever
Till one day we will be
brought back together
in a new life
