Please Pray for Aussie Bushfire Victims

Anything on your mind that isn't about RLS? It's nice to realize that there is life beyond this disease and have an opportunity to get to know our online family in a different context.

Well ... it's been a week since "Black Saturday".

Nine people have been found huddled together in a burnt out church ... the human recovery task is grim.

The Army is taking in essential supplies.

A southern Queensland town has a convoy of ute's, trucks & semi-trailers loaded with hay, horse blankets, animal medical supplies, you name it ... they've donated it and are headed south to help the animals. Some of you may have already seen the photo that has made world headlines of a Volunteer Firie giving his own water to a koala. She's just one of the thousands of displaced animals who need help.

The RSPCA has estimated that hundreds of thousands of animals and birds have perished.

My philosophy is simply this: Life is too short to be diplomatic. Your friends should not care what you do, or say; and for those who are not your friends ... their loss!!!

A 39 year old man has been arrested for only ONE of the fires, that caused 12 deaths. Included in his arrest was Child Pornography. I've just read that the Police are moving him to another location for his own safety.

A court has lifted a ban on identifying the man. He is Brendan Sokaluk.
A man generally has two reasons for doing a thing. One that sounds good, and a real one. ~ J. Pierpoint Morgan
