the lighter side

Anything on your mind that isn't about RLS? It's nice to realize that there is life beyond this disease and have an opportunity to get to know our online family in a different context.

the lighter side

Post by rthom »

I always look for the funny/positive in life and i found another example. It's 4:30am here and I'm very grateful for my lack of sleep--it resulted in me fining out that when i thawed out our deep freeze a couple of days ago i forgot to turn the freezer back on. Almost lost out on about 2 months food here. Thank god I went to get something out for diner!lol. Most of the frozen food is still par frozen, " pfew" That was a close one. lol

My husband called me yesterday (I was upstairs, he was in the basement) and said, "There is a frozen chicken on the washing machine. What's it doing there?"

I'd taken it out of the freezer to take upstairs, got sidetracked, and left it there. Fortunately it was also found in time. Of course, nothing like losing a whole freezer of food!

I work at a drug and alcohol treatment facility and one of the girls put her chicken in the ice maker. BAD IDEA. THe freezer smelled bad all the time and then one day a few people had chicken ice cubes in their water! Ewwwwwww

Why would she put her chicken there? Was there not any room?
