Anyone's bracket still intact?

No :-).

And, if you're not into College sports or at least basketball in general, you likely wouldn't know what it is.

I'm guessing it's the wall bracket holding the back board for the hoop for the basket ball ?

Not exactly...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bracket_%28tournament%29

Think of the term bracket at a tournament. There are a set of teams in a bracket and the teams play each other and are eliminated when they lose. The winners play each other, and are eliminated as they lose. The bracket is that tree diagrams that represents who plays whom.

PB, I really should apologize. I apologize. Views, thanks for taking up the slack. In retrospect, I guess I forget that this forum really is international and that some thoughts, jokes, or whatever don't easily translate to other cultures and nations. Sorry for that presumtion. But Polar Bear, reagards the "bracket"….. http://abcnews.go.com/Sports/perfect-br ... d=23003787 And, yes, that is/was one Billion (with a B) dollars! Next year, when I win, I promise to donate half to the WED foundation!
