Anyone visit the Ted Talk site? Short talks on a variety of topics which are often interesting, informative, and inspiring. Just watched one entitled "What really happens when you mix medications." A topic near and dear to us. It was pretty basic and I admit I was hoping for more but still I learned something. The topic is on the same page as the link I will post. It's another nice way to pass some time in the wee hours.

Wishing all who visit here some peace this night

I love TED talks. I listen to podcasts more often, though, that watching them. NPR has many shows I love to listen to, but Invisibilia, This American Life, Snap Judgment and Radiolab are favorites.

And, many others (without my phone, I'm just rattling off a few...)

Stuff You Should Know

BBC's Free Thinking

The Moth Radio Hour

Skeptoid

I can't remember the name...but it's on Positive Psychology.

There are multiple ones from Scientific American

I think I have over 200 episodes on my phone right now...scary.

Those are some good looking websites. I've already bookmarked Skeptoid.

Another good one is Arts & Letters Daily http://www.aldaily.com

It was started by Denis Dutton, an American expat philosophy professor at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand. Sadly, he died in 2010. He was also a founder of New Zealand Skeptics.

Took a look at Skeptoid and bookmarked it also. Looks like it could contain some inteesting stuff but I'm a bit skeptical.
