Gill, just as an FYI, most antidepressant (AD) drugs make RLS WORSE!!!! It may not be a good choice for you at this time - maybe the RLS is causing the depression (lack of sleep can do that) - just a thought. If the RLS is under control, you might feel a lot better. Of course, that doesn't always work. . .then you need to find an AD that doesn't make it worse or you need more RLS drugs to counteract the AD.

It sucks, basically.

Hi Gill and welcome to this board. I am glad that you found us, but sorry that you have rls. When calling your dr, I would ask for something for your sleep deprivation.

Read the forum New to RLS "Managing RLS" There is an article on there from the Mayo Clinic Algorithm. If you are able to print it out, I would bring it to your dr.

Another good site to read is rlshelp.org

My sister has Tinnitus and am so sorry that you also have that. I know she has to watch what type of meds she takes so it does not make it worse.

I hope that some of this information has been helpful to you

Please keep us posted and let us know how you are doing.
