Welcome to Robyn Stalson

Post by Rustsmith »

Thursday, July 19

Welcome to

Robyn Stalson, who would like to determine if she is experiencing augmentation from taking Gabapentin. Is this possible? Her symptoms are now arms and legs and all day. She is considering alternative drugs (Ropinirole) with Gabapentin. However, she is very scared of taking Ropinirole because of augmentation.....but she seems to have it now????

Augmentation on gabapentin would be unusual. It is possible that you are experiencing a natural progression of your RLS. Please post a note with details such as your dose, your RLS history and whether your doctor is knowledgeable about RLS treatments so that we can offer a few suggestions and comments for you to consider.

Welcome to

Anitasara, who has consistent pain but prefers not to take any medicine so she basically suffers. It has really affected her sleep, so she I feels like she is 40 years older than she actually is.

Please take a look through our forum on Non-prescription meds to get an idea of some of the non-medication coping mechanisms that have worked for others. And please post a note with any questions that you have.

Welcome to Janno

Tuesday, July 24

Welcome to

Janno, who is interested in finding a solution to RLS without drugs, but Janno's symptoms are getting worse.

Take a look through our forum on Non-Prescription medications to get an idea of the limited number of things that work on RLS without drugs. There is also the question of your ferritin levels and whether you would benefit from taking iron supplements. So, please post a note telling us a bit about your symptoms so that we can offer you some specific suggestions.

Welcome to Jillmac

Post by Rustsmith »

Tuesday, July 31

Welcome to

Jillmac, whose RLS has become worse as she's gotten older and is now causing significant insomnia and thus having a huge negative impact on her life. She's been trying so many different remedies but so far only magnesium oil seems to help a little.

Please take a look around and also post a note telling us about the things that you have tried. Most of us have found combinations of treatments that work for us, so we may be able to suggest something to try that will help improve your RLS.
