Welcome to
VVtory, who has suffered for decades off and on, sometimes not just legs but arms or torso. Gabapentin helps right away but would rather find more holistic remedies.
There are only a few non-pharmaceutical treatments that have shown good effectiveness. You can read more in our forum on Non-Prescription Meds and Physical Treatments. In general, iron supplements help for those with lower ferritin levels, soaking in very hot water and the new prescription TOMAC version of TENS treatment are the ones that are most frequently reported to help. If you have any questions, feel free to post a message.

Welcome to donalamo1
Thursday 30 May 2024
Welcome today to
donalamo1 who is tapering from Ropinirole with little hope in sight regarding chronic symptoms.
You are doing the right thing by tapering from your Ropinerole. This is not easy and well done for making the decision to do so. Are you having the support of your GP as you do this and are you taking any other medication to help as you reduce your Ropinerole. Were you augmented.
Many members have made this journey, including myself. Please feel free to make a post on a relevant thread, or even better, start your own thread. Ask any questions you may have, giving a little background information about your RLS management and symptoms helps.

Welcome to Steve Wake
Thursday, May 30
Welcome to
Steve Wake, who is 66. RLS and involuntary leg jerks have relentlessly hounded him for the past 27 years. It's not just the physical aspect, but the toll on his mood, personality, outlook on life, and positive mental attitude have been overwhelming. Then there is also the amount of time that he has spent dealing with it rather than doing other things. RLS is one of the most evil curses that there is.
Do you need suggestions on how to improve the management of your RLS? If so or if you have any other questions, feel free to post a message so that we can try to help you out.

Welcome to Ail
Friday, May 31
Welcome to
Ail, who can’t sleep with RLS's severe symptoms
Sleep is a primary problem for most of us with severe RLS. If your RLS is not under control, we may be able to offer some suggestions to discuss with your doctor on how to improve control of your RLS. All that you need to do is post a message and let us know what you are currently doing to treat your RLS so that we know what not to suggest and also asking any questions that you have.
