Welcome to

For more natural solutions, take a look through the non-prescription medication forum and the physical treatments sections. And then post a note telling us what your doctor has been prescribing so that we can offer you some specific suggestions, such as iron supplements.

Welcome to JTUREL

Wednesday, December 20

Welcome to

JTUREL, who says medication for this condition has been a mistake.

Please tell us a bit more. Dopamine agonist medications can lead to augmentation and others have some significant side effects. However, it is almost always possible to find a treatment that helps and does not cause too many unwanted problems.

Welcome to Chello

Post by Rustsmith »

Saturday, December 23

Welcome to

Chello, who has a genetic delayed sleep phase disorder which makes it very hard to fall asleep. A few years ago, very sudden adult age onset of RLS made things even worse for about a year. Have been able to eliminate RLS with Methylcobalamin sublingual form of B-12along with a slightly higher level of iron supplementation. With the regular cyanacobalimin form of B-12, there was no improvement in RLS symptoms, but somehow, the Methyl form caused a complete remission of all RLS symptoms, even before the increased iron. Chello's mother has been a long time sufferer with RLS but has not found relief with these supplements.

It appears that there are a number of dietary issues that can influence RLS and out members indicate that B-12 deficiency can be one of them. So glad that this has helped you. So, after you have a chance to look around, please post a note with any questions that you have.
