Welcome to

Mjamick, who has had restless leg since being a teenager. Long before they ever diagnosed it. Mjamick can’t enjoy an evening on the couch watching tv or a movie because of a choice of suffering thru the RLS, or falling asleep with the meds.

Please tell us about your meds, perhaps we can make some suggestions that would allow you to enjoy your evenings more.

Welcome to jdocherty,

Post by badnights »

Welcome today to jdocherty, who is here to find information that will help her boyfriend.

Jdocherty, please feel free to ask questions. You might want to start by checking out the Topic called "A good place to start", which is a sticky topic in this Just Joined forum. You'll find lots of answers here, and on the Foundation's website where you can download brochures (some free, some you have to become a member of the Foundation, which is separate from becoming a member of this disucssion board)

welcome to Goldielocks who has had WED/RLS for many years, went through being told it was "all in your head", finally found the Foundation and started on medication.

Goldielocks, hi! What meds are you on and how are they working for you? We're happy to have you join us. Whenever you feel like it, you can start a new Topic about yourself or any issue you'd like to discuss.

Welcome to littlelightshine

Post by Rustsmith »

Saturday, February 3

Welcome to

littlelightshine, who has RLS and would like to get more information about it. She is looking for non-drug treatments, exercises, supplements, etc., that she can use to cope and manage her symptoms. Her symptoms have been moved to other parts of her body, so she is looking for information about other patients who have these same experiences.

If you are interested in non-medication treatments for RLS, take a look at our forums on physical treatments and non-prescription medications for info. However, if you symptoms are becoming severe with the spread to other parts of your body, you may find that non-drug treatments are not strong enough to control the symptoms. Therefore, if you would post a note telling us a bit about your symptoms and what you have been doing to manage them, we may be able to offer more specific some suggestions to guide you.

Welcome to AgeOtt71

Post by Polar Bear »

4th February 2018

Welcome today to:

AngeOtt71 who was diagnosed in 1997. The only thing that helps is high doses of prescription meds which AngeOtt71 hates having to take and is looking for alternatives.

Most of us end up having to use prescription medications but there are other ways to try. Please post, start a thread, telling us about your RLS, how you have managed and what medications you have tried. We will try to help.
