Welcome, usskywatch
19 May 2019
Welcome to usskywatch, who has had RLS for about 2 years. it has greatly worsened and usskywatch has little sleep and the RLS is really affecting daily life.
So sorry to hear that. It sounds as if it may be augmentation. My guess is that the doc prescribed a dopamine agonists - ropinerole, rotigotine, or pramipexole. If so, please read more about that. Either way, please start a new post and tell us more about what is happening.

Welcome to r10harmsel
Tuesday, May 21
Welcome to
r10harmsel, whose RLS has greatly affected his life because his sleep is never consistent. He can usually get about 1-3 hours when he first goes to sleep. Then have to be up for 1/2 -1 1/2 hours before he can go back to sleep. Usually he has to repeat that pattern at least one more time that same night, causing his to sleep too long in the morning hours.
Please post a note telling us what you are doing to manage your RLS. There are ways to improve upon your current sleep pattern, but we need to have a better idea of where you are now so that we can provide more specific suggestions.

Welcome to Micheleg
Saturday, May 25
Welcome to
Micheleg, who wants to learn what others are doing to help with RLS. Compression socks? Medication? It can drive her crazy at times.
The discussion board tends to attract the more severe cases of RLS, so most of us are on medication. Please post a note telling us what you are currently doing and asking any questions that you have.

Welcome to dmann88
Wednesday, May 29
Welcome to
dman88, who has had RLS for years and it is bad enough that dmann has to take drugs for it. If dmann doesn't take them at just the right time, it either causes a loss of sleep or forces going to bed early. If dmann has to go to bed earlier, it results in missing time with the kids. dmann can't take long drives and airplane rides are horrible. dmann has a number of ailments and this is by far, the worst.
We can all relate to those problems. Please post a note telling us about your medications and schedule. We may be able to offer some suggestions that will help you get both sleep and time with the kids.
