MARCH 2020 - New Members
Sunday, March 1
Welcome to
Anniez, whose RLS has robbed her of countless nights, walking the halls, trying different beds, sleeping on the couch, baths at 2 AM, all to no avail. Her doctor prescribed Requip, but she is fearful of the side effects.
Please post a note so that we can offer you some advice. For example, has your doctor checked your ferritin level (this is very important if you are going to take Requip) and have you tried gabapentin or Lyrica yet?

Welcome to Robin_Eiland
Tuesday, March 10
Welcome to
Robin_Eilands, who would like to join because after 54 years of dealing with RLS/PLMD, she finally got her diagnosis. She has searched, been tested, poked, accused of being a drug addict, and just finally feels like she could share my story and maybe even impart some medications that did not work. She knows she could be the exception to the rule, so to speak. But would like to share none the less.
Please post a note telling us your story and asking any questions that you have. Although 54 years is longer than any of us have had to wait, delays in getting a diagnosis and treatment are not unusual.
