Welcome to peggyflorida
Friday, April 24
Welcome to
peggyflorida, who has been up for three days and is exhausted. She has had RLS all her life but now it's arms, legs and whole body.
Have been on all prescriptions and now the neupro patch with terrible augmentation. She is 79 years old and figures this will kill her.
Since you understand that you are augmenting on the patch, what has your doctor suggested as the next step? Please post a note and tell us where you expect to go from here.

Welcome to Gregg65
Saturday, April 25
Welcome to
Gregg65, who has trouble sleeping thru the night. One of the main reasons he retired. He probably would have continued a few more years but with the lack of sleep it was too much.
Please post a note telling us what you are doing to manage your symptoms. We may be able to offer some suggestions to help you get more sleep.

Welcome to Poppy65
Saturday, April 25
Welcome to
Poppy65, who has had RLS for 20+ years. She had a rebound on Pramipexole and could not sleep for days or even lie down when she was incorrectly told by the neurologist to stop the Rx immediately. She nearly lost her job. She is on a codeine protocol which helps but is plagued every night and sometimes during the day. The name is RLS, but for me the twitching and jerking movements are full body.
Please post a note telling us about your codeine dose, when you take it and if you have found a different neurologist. We would love to be able to help, but need to know where to start with our suggestions.
