Welcome to RJHarmon
Tuesday, July 27
Welcome to
RJHarmon, who has severe RLS. That is driving RJHarmon crazy.
Please post a note telling us what you are currently doing to manage your RLS. There is always something new to try to get it under control. We just need to have an idea of where to start.

Welcome to mariejobaldwin
Thursday, July 29
Welcome to
mariejobaldwin, who has had RLS for over 20 years. She took Requip for 15 years straight with no problems at all....but then she had a difficult augmentation in 2018. She now takes Horizant and Rytary. They work great at night but she takes nothing for the daytime. It is a difficult illness as few understand unless they themselves suffer from it. She has learned to start her "workday" at 9 or 10 am to allow her grace if she has had a bad night.
If there is anything that we can do to help, just ask.

Welcome to JenniferL
Friday, July 30
Welcome to
JenniferL, who was recently diagnosed with RLS. So far the medications that the doctor prescribed aren't working. It's gotten depressing. She would like to talk with people who have it to hopefully learn how they have found relief from their symptoms.
We would be happy to help explain both your treatment as well as what your other options are. All that you need to do is post a note with whatever questions that you have.

Welcome to
Margaret122maryL, who is dealing with refractory symptoms and augmentation. She needs to get off Mirapex after several years…Tramadol helps but she is concerned about it over the long term. She is considering travel to a Restless Leg center for a consult.
We would be happy to discuss your concerns about tramadol as well as your thoughts about traveling to one of the Quality Care Centers. If you will post a note telling us about your tramadol concerns and asking about our experience with the various centers, we would be happy to try to provide you with answers.
