How do you see posts in order from most recent?

When I look at posts there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the order. I'll see a post from 2021, then 2017, then 2021 again. Can you explain how to set up to show the most recent posts?

Go to the menu at the top left of the page, click on "Quick links" and pick what you want. They appear in date order for me when I do that.

Go to your username at top right, click the arrow, choose User Control Panel.

Choose the tab called Board Preferences.

Choose the left-menu item called Edit display options.

Here, you can set how the list of Topics is displayed, and also how the lists of Posts within Topics are displayed. To order the lists of Posts, two things are relevant:

Display posts ordering by: (choose Post time)
Disply post order direction (choose Descending to see newest ones on top, or Ascending to see newest at the bottom)
