Welcome to Clay
Monday, September 20
Welcome to
Clay, whose wife and friends have suffered. He discovered IBT Incline bed therapy, which he sees is mentioned in older posts but he thinks needsneeds to be revisited. He has had amazing results with RLS and other benefits too.
We would be happy to see you update the information in our older posts on incline bed therapy. It is always good to hear more positive experiences.

Welcome to loudupuis
Monday, September 20
Welcome to
loudupuis, who is embarrassed to sit in public. Her husband can barely stand to be around her. It's mentally very distressing.
We would love to be able to help you improve the control of your RLS so that you can be more relaxed. If you are willing to tell us what you are currently doing to manage your symptoms, we can probably offer some suggestions that will help you out.

Welcome to Gerret
Wednesday, September 22
Welcome to
Gerret, whose RLS was rather benign in the early days, but once Gerret's body started revolting a few years ago against the Mirapex Gerret was prescribed, that changed. Like many other discussion board participants, Gerret is on an endless search for the most effective prescription drug (or combination of drugs) to control it. 99% of the useful RLS info Gerret gas gotten off the internet has been from this site. Now, Gerret needs to ask the community some specific questions about drug combinations.
Thank you for the kind words about our information. We look forward to hearing your questions and trying to provide some suggestions.

Welcome to HarleneGolden
23rd September 2021
Welcome to:
HarleneGolden - who has found that Ropinirole has worked for the last 15 years but now it's effectiveness is sporadic. Now taking 4 mg. per day which is spaced out. HarlneGolden can't find a doctor in NJ that is knowledgeable about RLS meds and is worried about switching meds. Can't live without meds that work!
This is what usually happens when taking Ropinerole, it sounds like augmentation. Most of us have been in the same position. Please post in the Just Joined forum and tell us your story. I am sure we will be able to answer your questions. Just to note that your dosage of 4mg of Ropinerole is much too high. Although it is suggested that Ropinerole can be prescribed up to 4mg to treat rls the experts in this field accept that 1mg should be the max dose in order to try and avoid augmentation. You will need to get off the Ropinerole. Read also the Augmentation forum. Please do post so that we can do what we can to help you.

Welcome to Simonsimon
Friday, September 24
Welcome to
Simonsimon, whose RLS causes difficulty sleeping and sometimes makes itimpossible to relax. It is also sometimes accompanied by itching.
Itching is unusual unless it is tied to something that you are doing to manage your RLS. If you have any questions or would like suggestions, just post a note and tell us what we can to do help.

Welcome to HeidiZ
Saturday, September 25
Welcome to
HeidiZ, who has a very hard time getting to sleep and staying asleep. She can go for a few months on medication and then it doesn't work. From there it is back to the drawing board. She has a very healthy lifestyle and it is frustrating to not be able to sleep.
Sleep issues are often the reason that we first consult a doctor about our RLS. If you are willing to tell us a bit about the meds that you have tried, we may be able to offer some suggestions that will help.

Welcome to ttwright
Wednesday, September 29
Welcome to
ttwright, who has had RLS for 20 years. There's so much more information about it now, compared to back then.
Yes there is more information and better ideas on how to treat it. And with all the ongoing research, things just keep improving. If you have any questions or would like to make a comment, just post a note.

Welcome to Rhoneyb
Thursday, September 30
Welcome to
Rhoneyb, whose RLS has caused much discomfort and disruption in his life. It seems to be getting worse as he now has difficulty sitting through a meeting during the day and is noticing similar sensations in his arms now. Bedtime has become a dreaded event as he knows the odds of getting to sleep without being medicated is very low.
It could be that your medication is what is causing things to get worse. If you are willing to post a note to tell us about what you are taking, we may be able to offer some suggestions that will bring things under better control.
