Welcome to
Nerdiya, who has been suffering with RLS without having a single idea what it was since her childhood. She is 33 now. It wasn't as severe as it used to be. She grew up getting used to it by combating it her way. No medication at all. No one around her has RLS, so she does't know if we have medication for it, until yesterday when she typed into google “legs pain at night” that has brought her here.
There are a number of medical treatments available for treating RLS, but none of them provides a cure. The first thing that you should do is talk to a doctor about getting a blood test to check your iron levels (particularly ferritin). It could be that an iron supplement would do wonders. There are also a number of medications available, but many doctors are fairly clueless when it comes to using them correctly. So, if you want to try that, feel free to post a note here asking any questions that you have so that we can tell you more.
