drug & rls

Post by Bevzap »

HI:
I used to be on the List a long time ago, but have not had a lot of trouble that cannot be controlled fairly easily.
HOWEVER
I got a prescription today for Ery-Tabs for a sinus infection, and my legs are suddenly worse than they have been for a loooong time.

I am wondering if anyone else has had a problem with this drug.

I looked online, the best I could tell is that they are an enteric-coated, slow-resease erythromycin. I couldn't tell if they have anything else in them, but it didn't look like it. Antihistamines are terrible for RLS, but this doesn't look like it has anything in it by the antibiotic. Hmm, not sure, but I don't think I've seen anyone say they had a reaction to an antibiotic of any kind, nor anything specific to e-mycin, but hopefully someone will respond if they have.

So sorry you are having trouble while sick. It's not fun to have RLS at any time, but it seems so much more "wrong" to me when you're sick, too!
