can meds cause rls?

diagnosed with arthritis in my neck. doc put me on neurontin 300mg q-day which was increased after a year to 600mg. i began to wean off because i was experiencing short-term memory loss and once i weaned off completely my legs started twitching like crazy. is this a result of the neurontin? the doc put me on requip .5mg q-day. i've been on it for almost a month and already noticing it's not working as well as it did at first. also fighting slight nausea and the wierdest dreams ever! thanks for this website - i wish the doctors wouold read it!
